All caregivers at United Doctors Hospital are fully supported and strengthened through regular trainings in life support courses.
The hospital fully funds and supports these trainings because it believes that by improving the efficiency of our employees, we will be able to maintain a productive and efficient work environment.
Continuing education for all employees, which includes continuing medical education with CME hours, quality lectures, occupational safety and risk management courses, infection control courses, leadership courses, as well as basic first aid and customer service training. The hospital funds these courses to empower and encourage employees to be more active, as well as to recognize employees who have performed exemplary in their field. This is one of the hospital’s strategies to reward outstanding employees, which in turn requires them to develop their loyalty and commitment to the hospital.
We also encourage employees to self-train and study by providing a special policy that allows the employee to receive paid vacation days if they are used for educational development or to attend courses or conferences of the employee’s choice.
Individual coaching is also done for employees in relation to the performance appraisal report where the department head recommends additional training and courses to develop employees’ performance in areas that have been identified as their weaknesses. This will enable employees to cope with the job requirements and skills required. In addition, practical trainings are conducted at the hospital based on the identified areas with room for improvement.
We believe that providing development opportunities for our employees is critical not only for their career development, but also as an additional factor in attracting excellent employees. In addition, our comprehensive education and training ensures that employees have the opportunity to continue their careers elsewhere as they gain the knowledge required for future entry into advanced healthcare facilities.
Upon joining the hospital, each new employee is handed a guidebook that will guide them through the initial period of awareness, guidance and familiarization with work activities, in which the employee must complete basic safety and security courses and pass the knowledge test of the rules and regulations to enable him to perform his job duties.During this phase, the most important policies and procedures that the employee must know about the facility and the workplace are explained.
