It is noteworthy that the accreditation procedures go through a number of stages, including sending a number of specialized auditors to review and examine all the procedures in place in the laboratory and blood bank department, by comparing them with more than 3000 standard criteria adopted in the model management of laboratory and blood bank departments. The audit also includes the scientific and academic qualifications of doctors and laboratory technicians, as well as safety procedures, equipment control, quality and infection control. In addition, periodic samples of laboratory tests are periodically and continuously sent to The College of American Pathologists to ensure the validity of the results.
