United Doctors wins the Middle East Award for Digital Content Excellence for Arab Health Websites

A new addition to the Saudi achievements in the health sector and a new addition to the achievements of United Doctors Hospital, Jeddah, United Doctors Hospital won the Middle East Award for Excellence in Digital Content for Arab Health Websites at the private sector level for the year 2014

The hospital won first place in the Middle East in the competition for the Excellence Award for Web Content for Arabic Medical Websites

His Excellency Mr. Ali Al Kamali, Executive Director of the Middle East Excellence Award Institute, handed over the award to His Excellency the General Manager of United Doctors Hospital, Mr. Ali Al Subaey, who extended his congratulations to His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Aboud Al Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of United Doctors Hospital, on achieving this achievement for the hospital, which is the fruit of the continuous support and guidance from His Excellency, and pointed out in his speech that this achievement comes as an extension of the great efforts made by the hospital to achieve leadership in medical quality and health care in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ceremony was held in conjunction with the conclusion of the 6th GCC Government Portals and Smart Cities Conference, which discussed the latest strategies for developing electronic content for government portals, their impact on organizational performance in the era of smart government, and strategies for compatibility with smart applications and advanced technologies.

It is noteworthy that the hospital was selected after matching the file submitted by the hospital with the award’s criteria of providing Arabic electronic content and supporting and promoting the best technologies and standards of quality and efficiency for Arabic electronic content

While keeping pace with technological development in various aspects of content creation and supporting the ability of the Arabic language to translate the needs and expectations of beneficiaries and develop effective policies and strategies for the development of Arabic digital content

It aims to achieve balance and simplify interaction between multiple parties at the regional and global levels and achieve economic and social development by highlighting the effective role of the Arabic language and enriching the Arabic electronic content of various social media sites and working to achieve effective economic and social development in the era of e-government and smart cities and developing government initiatives to develop talents, such as establishing long-term website Arabization projects and encouraging the creation and exploitation of local Arabic digital content and having a strategic vision and development plan for the coming years to support Arabic digital content.
