The hospital was awarded first place in the ESR patient safety standards with a score of 99.7%

As part of the hospital’s continuous commitment to quality standards in providing services and providing a safe environment for patients, the hospital succeeded in passing the evaluation of the National Essential Requirements for Patient Safety (ESR), achieving first place with a score of 99.7%.

The ESR is an important national standard to ensure patient safety before, during and after receiving treatment services, in terms of standards and procedures for selecting healthcare providers. Also, patient safety standards during hospitalization, isolation and emergency procedures, safety and efficiency of early warning systems, and dealing with accidents and crises. Also, procedures for patient identification, disease diagnosis, building a treatment plan, dispensing medicines, and procedures that prevent medication or medical errors while receiving the service. In addition to special standards during surgical operations, anesthesia procedures, safe blood transfusion, and providing the appropriate environment for providing health care services to the patient while he is inside the hospital.

Such as artificial intelligence systems for early identification of patients who are prone to falls or prone to life-threatening complications after operations and early intervention in the initial stages, which led to reducing the patient’s return to intensive care or prolonging the length of stay in the hospital.
