Hospital earns HIMSS Stage 6 accreditation
Continuing our ongoing pursuit of excellence and quality in medical services, the hospital recently passed the HIMSS Level 6 international accreditation audit in the medical services and e-services sectors.
The hospital achieved success in implementing the Level 6 criteria, passing the assessment and becoming eligible to move to HIMSS Level 7, the organization’s highest designation.
According to this classification, the hospital has achieved all the requirements for the Level 6 categories, which are the application and use of information technology in medical files, clinical services, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, medical documentation, error detection and treatment in prescription dispensing, and the use of information technology in the field of medical data analysis to improve decision-making, facilitate and speed up procedures, and increase the return on available resources.
Mr. Ali Al-Subaie, General Manager of United Doctors Hospital, expressed his congratulations to the workers and health practitioners in the hospital for their great efforts in developing medical systems and electronic services in the hospital autonomously and employing artificial intelligence techniques to improve the medical services provided to patients.
